Jackson's 2008 Soccer Season
10/28/08. Jackson's team lost 0-1 in the second round of the tournament this year. Their win in the first round was the most exciting of the season, coming down to two rounds of penalty kicks following a 1-1 score at the end of regulation and a scoreless overtime period. Jackson really enjoyed playing mid-fielder this year and says he wants to play again next year.
9/22/2008. Following a 2-2 tie on Saturday and a 1-1 tie in tonight's game, Jackson's team now has a record of 1-1-2. Jackson played four quarters tonight in his defensive midfielder position. It was a really tight game, which the score accurately reflects. Jackson continues to have fun during the games and is enjoying his season.
9/13/2008. Jackson again played three solid quarters in his defensive midfielder position, keeping the opposing team to only one shot on goal and no points. He really hustled after the ball and made some great plays. His team won 3-1, with Bradford scoring twice and Colt once.
9/08/2008. Jackson spent four quarters as the front line defense, playing with incredible energy and focus, in a 1-2 season opening loss. The entire team played great and I think they'll have more wins than losses this season. They won their scrimmage over the weekend 2-0.
