Samuel celebrated his fifth
birthday with a Thomas/dipping party. Ben and Sam both love the dipping
parties. It's just one of their many Samularities as Amy puts it.
Ben saddled up to the table as soon as he came in the door and didn't leave
until he couldn't eat another strawberry. He also jumped and clapped while
yelling "Party, Party, Party!" I myself ate at least half of the
chicken nuggets Sue brought. It was nice getting to visit with
our friends, including Sue, Don, Dwight and Mary. Samuel got lots of cool new Thomas engines,
gear, and movies. Matthew and Jackson spent the evening playing together.
Jeff and I talked kayaking. And before the party wound down everyone hit
the dance floor in Megan's room, jamming to Samuel's new SpongeBob Yellow
Album. Megan's got one sweet sound system in there. I can't
believe it's been a year since Samuel's last birthday party. It seems like
yesterday that he turned three and fell asleep on his mommy's shoulder at the
end of his party.
2005
Samuel turned four years old today and
celebrated with a SpongeBob SquarePants/dipping party at his house.
The weather was an unusual sixty-five degrees and we had a great time partying
with Sam. It was fun seeing baby Ryan crawling and pulling up. You
can tell we don't get to see Ryan very much because we took a ton of photos of
him. Or maybe he is just that cute.
2004
Our good friend Samuel turned three years old today and
celebrated the occasion at his house with family and friends. Matthew and
Jackson enjoyed playing with Sam's new toys and with Fun Uncle Thomas.
Benjamin and Megan enjoyed getting to see each other, and everyone else enjoyed
the good food and company. At the end of the party sweet little Sam fell
asleep on Mommy's shoulder. Note: It is Samuel's opinion that "Percy is a
miserable engine."
