Discharge and Gage Height near Francisco, NC

6, 2004. I hit the water in my new Dagger Element for the first time
and had a great thirteen mile paddle in it. Jeff and I started at the 704
bridge and took out at the Dan River Company on Flinchum Road. The stretch
between 704 and 89 was the best run yet, lots of class I and class IIs,
wonderful scenery. Hurricane Jeanne definitely had an impact on the river
and put some new waves between Moore's Spring and DRC.
