A Wednesday Wrap-Up
Wrapping up the past week's thoughts and photos.
When it's all said and done, our boys enjoy playing with their new bathtub toys, like foaming soap, color tints, magic wash clothes, and toy sharks as much as any thing else. They really enjoy their bath time.
Jackson was really disappointed that it didn't snow on Christmas. We drove through the Shenandoah Valley Tuesday and were happy to see snow on the ground in the mountains.
Amy is really good at Mrs. Pac-Man. I kick butt in Galaga and am quickly becoming hooked on Pole Position. I love my present from Jackson; the joystick controller with six old-school video games built-in that connects to the video jack on our television. I also LOVE the remote control Monster Truck that Santa gave Jackson. He keeps catching me outside playing with it. Jackson got two of the controller games himself, which came in handy during our holiday driving.
Amy gave me a Harley-Davidson for a day. It is a gift card that gets me any Harley I want for 24 hours with unlimited mileage. The best part about that gift is all the time I get to spend planning those 24 hours.
Thank
you to everyone that sent us a Christmas card, we really liked them all.
Here is our 2005 card.
Jackson and I cannot figure out why Obi Won Ben Kenobi is the Queen on his Star Wars chess set instead of, oh, I don't know, maybe a girl. Maybe Padme Amidala. You know, Queen Amidala from the first movie. No, Padme is a rook. Even Princess Leah would have been a better choice. At least she's royalty.
I finally posted a trip report from Friday's paddle on The Ararat River and this footage.
